This page is maintained by KITRED (kitred.in) to explain what personal information the app collects and how it is used. KITRED is a farmer marketplace and community app for Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and nearby regions in India.
Account details (name, phone, email, village, district, state), profile photo, listings you post (product, price, stock, contact number, photos), community posts, comments, likes and direct messages you send, and identity documents you upload for seller verification (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving Licence and a selfie holding the ID).
To run the marketplace and community, verify sellers, prevent fraud, respond to reports, and improve the app. Your masked phone number is shown publicly on your listings; the full number is revealed only to signed-in buyers who choose to Call or WhatsApp you.
KITRED does NOT process payments between buyers and sellers. Product payments happen off-platform — buyers contact sellers directly by phone/WhatsApp and settle via cash, UPI, or the seller's own QR code. KITRED only collects payments for optional membership plans and listing boosters through Razorpay; card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and are never stored on KITRED servers.
ID documents and selfies are stored in a private storage bucket. Only KITRED admins can view them, and only to approve or reject verification. They are never shown to other users and are not used for advertising.
Data is stored on Lovable Cloud with row-level security so each user can only read their own private data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
We do not sell your personal information. Contact details are shared with the users you choose to contact through the app. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be used for product improvement.
You can update your profile and payment details anytime from Settings. To delete your account, remove your ID documents, or export your data, email us at the address below.
